Our trajectory

Today, Chimes Mexicana and its partners: GSC spa, EUROCOLOR, BIODERMOL and LCM FOILS are well-known companies, leaders in chemical industry for leather and textile in Mexico and South America.

The 25 years experience history offering a high standard service and products differentiate us allowing us to be one of the first choices for our clients for their many high standard requirements.

1998

Chimes Mexicana starts as a representative of Chimes Italy and also concocting its own re-tanning brands, offering more than 50 different products and a solid and structured work team in specialized technical advisory for the leather industry.

2004

Chimes Italy merges with NeoChimia stablishing LETEX S.P.A, and the Chimes Mexicana inherits the brand “CHIMES”. In 2005 a new partnership is born with Eurocolor, to market dyes for leather, now offering a whole new portfolio of products.

2005

A new partnership is created with the renowned company Eurocolor to market dyes and anilines for the tincture of leather in oiling, thus expanding the range of dyes of Chimes Mexicana.

2010

The company’s product portfolio is 100% with the REACH and California 65 norms compliant  and becomes one of the first national companies to change all its portfolio to meet 100% of these international standards. 

2015

MSQ Specialized Level certification is acquired. 

2017

Chimes Mexicana becomes an authorized distributor of LCM Foils Brasil, expanding its range of fashion products with design folia and transfoils. 

2018

Chimes Mexicana acquires the representation of Biodermol Ambiente, an Italian company dedicated to the production of 100% biodegradable enzymes and introducing a totally ecological soaking and peeling system.

2022

Chimes Mexicana Introduces a new range of high concentration and performance products for the automotive industry. 

2022

ISO 14001 certification begins.

Our commitment with the environment and society: 95% of today’s Chimes Mexicana product list complies with REACH and California 65 regulations and ZDHC MRSL.  Meaning that Chimes Mexicana aligns with the highest international ecological standards representing only companies that care for the environment and take actions toward its preservation.
